Ensure the nut and handle on the IN-Series inflator are secure prior to using the WRISTY.
It is advised when unpacking a new IN-Series inflator or prior to the inflators first use with the WRISTY to remove the nut and handle from the inflator and apply a few drops of LOCTITE THREADLOCKERS 243 or equivalent.
Replace and tighten the handle and nut, then let the agent cure before use.
This will greatly reduce the likelihood of there ever being issues with undesirable movement of the handle on the inflator shaft.
Prior to use, ensure all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment is applied.
Inspect the condition of the Valving for any potential problems or risks.
1. Ensure the Wristy is correctly fitted to your half inch drive power tool before fitment to the IN-Series inflator.
2. Before operation ensure your power tool is set to the intended rotational direction and a low torque setting. Remove the valve cap from the inflator and place the Wristy over the handle of the IN-Series inflator ensuring full coverage for maximum contact.
3. Apply forward directional pressure towards the IN-Series inflator, this may require holding the IN-Series inflator stationary with the use of your other hand. Once the shaft has retracted and the core housing engaged by the inflator shaft you can proceed to use the power tool.
4. Once the core housing has been completely unthreaded, the shaft may extend quickly under extreme air pressure. Remove the wristy from the IN-Series inflator.

3.Apply forward directional pressure towards the IN-Series inflator until the shaft retracts completely. This may require holding the IN-Series inflator stationary with the use of your other hand. Once the shaft has retracted and the core housing thread is ready to engage you can proceed to use the power tool.
4. Once the core housing has been completely fitted, remove the wristy from the IN-Series inflator. Ensure the core housing has not been overtightened. You can test this by using your hands to loosen and then retighten the core housing.
● High Pressure Air Release: Tyre fitting involves handling extremely high air pressures. Misuse of the Wristy on aged or deteriorating valving and IN-Series inflators can result in potential hazards, including the release of high-pressure air towards the face and body.
● Secure Valving, Fittings, and Inflator: Prior to use, it is imperative to ensure that valving, fittings, and the inflator itself are securely attached and fully functional.
● Risk of Detachment: When using the Wristy to unthread a valve core housing, there is a risk that either the valve hose or the inflator may unexpectedly move or spin. This movement could lead to the inflator detaching from the valve or the hose failing and detaching from its fitting.
● Continuous Monitoring: During Wristy usage, it is crucial to consistently monitor the valving and inflator to ensure that all fittings remain stationary. To mitigate this risk, consider using a hand to firmly grip these components while in operation.
When using the Wristy, understanding its limitations is essential to ensure both safety and effectiveness.
The Wristy has undergone rigorous testing to determine its point of failure, which has been identified at approximately 60 ft lb. This critical information serves as a guide for users to prevent potential misuse that could lead to product failure.
Furthermore, it's important to note that the Wristy is constructed using 30% glass-filled nylon resin. In the event of failure, this material tends to exhibit a cracking pattern rather than shattering or splintering, contributing to a safer operational environment.
In conclusion, while the Wristy is an invaluable tool for tyre fitting, users are strongly encouraged to exercise caution. These measures are paramount for ensuring the safe and effective use of the product.
